Education in a Christian family
Keywords:
education, family, ChristianityAbstract
The family as a fundamental unit of society is first and foremost a child educational environment. The Christian family is the foundation of the sacrament of marriage. Christ has raised marriage to the dignity of the sacramental sign, by which He Himself sanctify the spouses and their children, but also imposes a number of obligations on parents. The Christian family, as a part of the Church, participates in the mission, in the prophetic, priestly and kingly mission of Christ. It is, therefore, called to evangelism, prayer and service to the example of Christ and His Church. In fact, as "domestic church", became a special place for evangelization, matures in faith and is thus evangelizer of many other families, and the environment in which he lives. The Christian family is called to holiness and at the same time witness to the faith.
