Abstract

None of us exists simply as a human being, but as a woman or as a man. Thisis called sexuality. By being a woman or a man we experience and communicate humanity in a holistic way. Sexuality reminds us that none of us is complete. In order to fully develop, we have to interact with people of the opposite sex. God is neither man nor woman precisely because he is complete. Sexuality not only helps us to discover our limitations, but is also an invitation to come up to meet with people of the other sex. Women and men seek contact with each other because they differ, while maintaining the same nature and dignity. Sexuality is not just about discovering our own limitations and enriching ourselves with otherness, but also about collaborative learning to love. It is easier to learn to love with the other person by our side. Nothing brings as much joy as love that is born between a man and a woman, and nothing hurts as much as lack of love between them.
