Anthropology and the pastoral care of vocations
Keywords:
vocation, vocational culture, education, humanity, holinessAbstract
The aim of this article is to present the anthropological foundations of vocational culture. These foundations can be found in the Bible. In the introductory part of the text, the basic concepts of the pastoral care of vocations are presented. The second part analyzes the biblical vision of the human being, towards which the pupils should grow if they want to discover and realize the vocation proposed to them by God. The last part of the article describes a lifestyle that treats the body, sexuality, moral, spiritual, religious and social spheres in a way that enables pupils to build a holy humanity in themselves, and thus become capable of discovering and maturely fulfilling their specific vocation.
