Youth and the Church community
Keywords:
Church, youth, evangelization, Catholic educationAbstract
An important task of parents, priests, religious education teachers and other Christian educators is to help children and youth to discover God, who revealed Himself and His love for people in Christ, and to build an increasingly mature and deep friendship with God. The incarnate Son of God established the Church because He wants His followers to form a community, as it is easier to profess faith and be guided by the Decalogue and the commandments of love in a community. The condition for introducing young people to the community of the Church is credibility and real life testimony in accordance with the Gospel of those who tell young people about God and His love. Adult Christians should treat their pupils in such a way that young people feel at home in the Church, where they are understood, supported, protected and loved by God and those who are His witnesses.
